| Purpose: To develop the property gifted to the church Description: The New Building Committee is commissioned with every aspect of building the church campus including funding, design, coordination and implementation. | Purpose: To enable effective written communication at Ni River Description: This team creates the church newsletter – the Ni River Current, reviews written communication, and is responsible for the church website – niriver.org. | Connection Store |
| Purpose: To provide Christian materials for people to research the claims of Christianity and develop into fully devoted followers of Christ Description: This team is responsible for the Sunday morning "store" of books, CD's of weekly messages, tee shirts, etc. People that "mind the store" each week are responsible for set-up and tear down of the store and burning CD's. We strive to connect with each person that comes into the store, assisting them with their selections and offering a listening ear. Gifts/Skills/Talents Needed: Friendly smile, Ability to lift a box of books (or find someone who can!), Hospitable, Organization, Able to commit to one Sunday per month (work in teams of 2+ people); Spiritual Gifts could include Helps, Hospitality, Administration, Teaching, Encouragement, and Leadership. | Purpose: To create a Sunday morning service that allows people to connect with God Description: We use many ways such as music, drama, and video to present the truth of God’s Word. | Purpose: To support the Sunday message with skits, mimes, plays and other dramatic interpretation Description: This ministry consists of people who enjoy writing plays, acting, directing, dancing, doing mimes etc... and want to praise God with the gifts He has given them. | Purpose: To teach children about God’s love through caring, play, games, songs, crafts, prayer and story time. Description: GAME is a fun multi-activity even designed to keep even the most active child entertained and educated with activities centered on the Bible. This ministry is designed to allow church to be a place that meets the Newborn to Pre-Kindergarten age child at his or her level. Gifts/Skills/Talents Needed: The desire to glorify God by caring for the smallest of His children. Love and nurturance is an essential gift in this learning environment. | Purpose: To provide opportunities for individuals who want to experience God by doing missions in other countries or impoverished areas within the U.S. Description: The Missions Ministry is a ministry for individuals who feel the calling from God to step out of their comfort zone and engage in a serving, loving, sharing, God filled experience. Gifts/Skills/Talents Needed: The main gift needed is a desire to want to serve others and be a witness of God’s word; however there may be opportunity to use specific skills such as construction or Health Care.
