The Elders will conduct a Question & Answer session on the nomination of Travis Pauley for the Lead Pastor position. This meeting is open to anyone who is interested in hearing how the Elders came to this decision and/or want to ask any relevant questions in preparation for the congregational vote scheduled for February 5th, 2012. Congregation Meeting - Vote Regarding Lead Pastor
Sunday, February 5, Immediately After Each Service

On February 5th immediately following the conclusion of each service, the Ministry Partners (members) will vote on Travis Pauley as the Lead Pastor in a private ballot vote. According to the governing documents, there will be no discussion of the candidate at this meeting and a successful election requires a 75% or greater positive vote.
Who can participate in this important decision? It is only persons who are present, who are Ministry Partners, and who are 18 years of age or older may vote. The Elders have produced a listing of the Ministry Partners, and it will be available for review and comment this Sunday, 29 January and Wednesday, February 1 at the Information Booth in the lobby. Please pen in any concerns you have by Wednesday, February 1st, and the Elders will resolve in time for the vote on the 5th.

Preparing Dinner for Homeless Shelter
First Sunday of Each Month, 4:30 p.m. (Next Dinner is February 5)

Ni River consistently supports this shelter in various ways. Assisting in preparing this monthly meal is a great chance to serve those in need. For the shelter we usually serve our signature meal "Breakfast for Dinner" . . .pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy and fresh fruit. Senior Ministry at Carriage Hill Nursing Home
Second Sunday of Each Month, 2:00 p.m. (next visit is Sunday, February 12)

April Missions Trip to Inner-city Canton, OH

The first Informational meeting regarding this Mission Trip is Sunday, January 29 6:00pm at the Traber's home 4 Buxley Court Fredericskburg 22407. This cost for the mission trip $600 (includes transportation, lodging, & meals).
