| July 26 - What's In Your Closet? (mp3 not available) - Outline Many times in our lives we hear that small voice in our hearts telling us to do something in our lives. It may be to restore a broken relationship by saying we are sorry or possibly to give up an activity or thing we covet as ours. A secret sin that no one knows about. All of these things keep us from having a true relationship with God. God wants and desires to have a relationship with us, but He will not take a back seat to our personal "idols" that we place in front of Him. He wants to have complete transparency in our lives. We tend to barter with God... Well I'll give You this but You can't have that, it's mine. With God it's all or nothing. We wonder why God doesn't speak to us... Many times it is because we have this stuff that gets in His way. |
